ENGYS
RBF is expanding its partnership with ENGYS by activating extended support for the HELYX and ELEMENTS software. We support morphing for optimizations including geometrical parameters, working with Adjoint, and performing transient analyses. This is a technical partnership aimed at ensuring that the integration with ENGYS solvers facilitates advanced simulations.
SIEMENS
RBF expands its compatibility with SIEMENS solvers, marking an important step in enhancing simulation and optimization capabilities. This integration allows rbfCAE to support advanced engineering workflows seamlessly. The software will feature two specialized connectors: one designed to work with Star System Plus formats for fluid dynamics applications and another tailored for Astram structural formats, ensuring smooth interoperability across disciplines. Additionally, rbfCAE is already equipped to couple with HEEDS for powerful optimization capabilities. This collaboration underscores our commitment to providing comprehensive solutions that streamline engineering processes and deliver exceptional performance.
NAFEMS
In 2023 RBF Morph had the honor of becoming a member of the prestigious NAFEMS, the International Association for the engineering modelling, analysis and simulation community. NAFEMS is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1983 which focuses on the practical application of numerical engineering simulation techniques such as the Finite Element Method for Structural Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) & Multibody Simulation. NAFEMS has a long history of providing training courses, webinars, seminars, conferences and online publications that are individually tailored to offer engineers of all skill levels the right tools to improve their professional status.
AVICENNA ALLIANCE
In 2023 RBF Morph joined the AVICENNA ALLIANCE, an association of industry and renowned academia/healthcare organizations who have a commercial or research interest in the development of in silico medicine. The Association, established in 2015, has its origins in the Virtual Physiological Human Initiative, a European Commission endorsed research area on computer modeling and simulation. Tasked by the European Commission with developing a “Roadmap for in silico medicine”, the Association now seeks to put this roadmap into policy and ensure the development of a regulated in silico market. The Avicenna Alliance bridges the gap between the scientific community, industry and policy makers by advocating for policy changes that take into account scientific and market developments.
ENGINSOFT
In 2013 ENGINSOFT entered into the technical partnership already existing between RBF Morph and University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. Such a strategic affiliation enhanced the integration of the RBF Morph tool with commercial software products provided by Enginsoft to reinforce the scientific research on RBF mesh morphing solutions for CAE applications and to continuously generate and guarantee value-added offerings to companies’ customers worldwide. The Innovative Technical Agreement in which dissemination and technology initiatives to be jointly implemented by companies were identified was written according to a proactive vision of future needs of scientific and CAE communities.
University of Rome Tor Vergata – DII
Since 2009 RBF Morph has been collaborating with the Department of Engineering Enterprise of University of Rome Tor Vergata (DII) in building-up both national and international research projects and the developing joint initiatives for students aimed at promoting and spreading knowledge of CAE-based solutions for scientific and industrial applications.
Design Methods
Design Methods is an engineering firm that provides multidisciplinary engineering consulting and design services. It was created by Ubaldo Cella in 2012 with the aim to support industries and design teams with high specialized competences on aerodynamic design, CAE analysis, software development, CAD modeling, numerical optimization environment and customized design tools development. The collaboration with the Design Methods began in 2010 and continues today with research activities in aerospace, automotive and marine fields.
